The hotel seems like an easy base for shopping. Not to mention free parking onsite. There's good choice of restaurants to choose from, like hana no mai, set within 10 minutes walk or so.

We stayed 1 night and would book again when visiting Japan. Good sized room. Stuff were courteous. Hotel offers free shuttle too. Very easy to get from Itami airport, just 16 miles...
